Yes, it is based on the real story of a shark barking up an man's arm, Vroomfondel. It is generally referred to as the shark arm murders. I have studied the case carefully for a long time and I have come to the conclusion no one was murdered - one accidental death and one suicide, hence I called the story "The Mysterious Death of Jim Smith". Sharks scare the living day lights out of me too. I too like the Derk Gently stories too, but the Hitch Hikers has the edge for me.

Hahaha! Man, I think I need to reread Hitchhikers. Somewhere in the depths of my jumbled reading memories, this reference is there, floating like so much flotsam Adams' books create. I personally love Derk Gently a little more than Hitchhikers. Shh. . . don't tell anyone. It's probably an unpopular opinion. I'm really looking forward to checking The Mysterious Death of Jim Smith, but I have to admit to being a bit freaked out. I have a phobia of sharks and every time I see your cover, I jump. Is it based of the real story of the shark in an aquarium barking up a human arm?

@willjams Hiya Go to the book 'reading circle' click to page 3 chapter 3. That chapter is entitled Fill in Your Genres . In the comment section you will see where people have filled in their username. Book title. Things they want as feedback ie, plot holes, whatever, grammar etc , and you're done XD No one answers these mostly so don't worry, getting help from the feed is very hit and miss . I should know I usually miss :D

@Scarletletterheart Hiya there. willjams has just joined our circle. They are navigating their way around wattpad at the moment so, introduce yourself ( if you want ) or they won't know who you are from as in. Now that makes hardly any sense at all. I better go, before I write any more rubbish XD
