!!!TRIGGER WARNING!!!
          	!!!DRUGS/OD/?ATTEMPTED SUICIDE?!!!

My friend, let's say Bob, overdosed and had a seizure in my bedroom about an hour ago.

From what I know right now, it is possible that /one/ of Bob's girlfriends broke up with him. A different friend, my brother, and I decided to get snacks from a store just about a mile away. Not too far at all. We get back maybe 20-30 minutes later, and Bob is acting. . . a bit strange. Definitely not just high on weed anymore. We ask him what he took, he says shrooms. Alright fine, he's just tripping, no biggie. Only about 15 minutes later, Bob is sitting on my floor, but gets up and walks, wobbly, to the opposite edge of my bed and just, stares. Into the corner wall. He starts to teeter, before dropping his phone. At this point, my other friend and I /know/ something is off, and I had fully sat up, ready to catch Bob if he falls. And he does fall and I catch his head, but he also starts having a seizure. I'm freaking out, but I'm the only one in the house who knows anything about how to take care of someone having a seizure, even if only by theory. I have to stay as calm as possible. I get the other friend to help me sit him up, and tell him to get someone to call 911. My mom dashes in, and notices he's turning blue. I don't know what to do. My friend is dying in my arms. He's to limp and out of it for me to check if he's choking, let alone do the heimlich maneuver. He's turning purple! I gotta press on his diaphragm! Over, and over. He's stopped seizing, but still not breathing. Over, and over. Bob starts to cough. He's breathing thank fuck oh my God yes. I try asking him some things. He just looks through me with glassy, disoriented eyes. He doesn't say a word. He's unresponsive, but he has a pulse, he's breathing, and he's awake. He's alive.

Weed, shrooms, and he apparently took a shit ton of Benadryl.

He's at the hospital right now.

What if Fred and George Weasley switched names and were misnamed so often that they both forgot who the real Fred and George are. Now "Fred" is dead and "George" has to live with the knowledge that he might not actually be George. That it could be George who's actually dead, not Fred.

One of my friends got into a motorcycle accident less than a year ago. He was going to meet up with some of his riding buddies for ice cream, but he forgot his wallet, so he decided to go back for it. His leg was cut off at impact with a semi truck, along with other injuries. An at-the-time random man, who just so happened to be late going home and an ex paramedic, found him. If it wasn't for this man, my friend would have been dead before first responders arrived. He was in a coma for months and wasn't expected to live. By a pure miracle, he woke up. After extensive physical therapy, he got to go back to work and school. He even has a prosthetic leg now. He still plans to ride his new motorcycle. He'll be graduating highschool this year.

I'm so proud of this man. He deserves all the kindness he gives to others.

Eyes green,
          So very serene.
          Why won't you intervene?
          I'm only a teen,
          My death unseen.
          How was this not seen?
          When I died at sixteen.
          Eyes were green,
          No longer serene,
          You didn't intervene.
          I was a teen,
          My body now seen,
          It was still unforseen.
          When I died at sixteen.
