Karen is an ambitious little dreamer hiding in one of the Northern regions of the Philippines. Unknown to her friends and family, she is secretly an encantada (Filipino fairy) quietly observing the lives of the common folk to exploit them for writing and drawing inspiration.

She has a degree in Bachelor of Arts Major in Broadcasting and has earned units for a master's degree in public administration. This was to help her take over the world through government and media once she turns to the dark side. She used to assist people from the United States as a Customer Service Representative for an online money transfer platform. As much as she loved the people of USA, she disliked being an undercover call center agent for too long. Today, she poses as a Virtual Assistant under a company that caters to Australian clients to hide from the legions of plot bunnies and art 'roos that threaten to take over her existence. 

As a self-proclaimed, intermediate wordsmith, she helps her Mama teach her pupils campus journalism by posing as an Elementary instructor. As a fairy in disguise, she lends her magical voice on Sundays for church, but mostly enjoys writing poetry, blogs, an on-going novel, comic ideas, and making digital art and watercolor paintings.

She is a fan of anime, the Marvel MCU, some RPG, some Netflix shows, participates in waifu wars that matter, and looks forward to the next episode of PewDiePie's meme review.

Investing time and money on social media on her off days has transformed her into a bon a fide meme lord with a heart of gold. She hopes that when the zombie apocalypse comes, she will be dressed as a red chili pepper and turn into a jalapeño monster.
