Touché. Sometimes it gets a little quiet around here though. You can't blame me for wanting to fill the silence.

Briefly, through Peter. Again — you can’t say that and expect me not to question your sanity.

| this is based off of the fatws concept art of bucky having short hair- and this is sorta what I want to happen in the first episode because like, sambucky . (Also my bucky has DID)

Bucky was done seeing his complexion, messing and unkept. It broke him to see the same face of a broke soldier, long scruffy unmaintained hair and terribly trimmed beard. He needed a new look, he couldn’t be the same as he was in hydra, scruffy and unkept. He needed a new him to show himself that he wasn’t what he was before. So there he was, standing in the bathroom, leaning over the sink as he had scissors, just chopping chunks and chunks of hair, letting it fall in the sink and on the floor. He used the blade to shave his beard. He knew he was doing a terrible job but at least it worked. He then heard movement, Sam was home, he froze. “Shit” he cursed, he dropped the scissors that were in his hand, and placed his elbows on the rim of the sink. He bent over, placing his forehead into his hands as he just waited for sam to come in and look at the mess of a man that he was.

After Sam was given his “promotion” and his new title, having him more busy stressed him out. As Sam was soaring through the internet and everything was about him, and having the shield, to be selfish to say the least, was to say that he was burdened by it. With fury more concentrated on Sam, he barely got any missions which led him to be stuck at home, alone, where he hated it the most. Most would say “why don’t you just go out?” But he doesn’t like going out alone anymore, not after the fiasco that happened last time, where many people tried to kill him and he was framed for something he didn’t do. Being alone was also a scary place, it’s where most things got at him the easiest, and those things weren’t people, they were , well, most would say “demons”, the ones that are stuck with you. He was having a panic attack, a existential crisis some would say, he couldn’t stand looking at himself in the mirror anymore, he needed to change it , change it all. With the loud shout it made him stop, how could he let Sam look at him like this? See him a complete wreck, physically, emotionally, mentally, everything. He heard the footsteps but fear paralyzed him, keeping him in one place, hunched over the sink, surrounded by his hair on the floor, and choppy, messy hair hid his face. “ d-don’t look at me, please, I don’t want to be seen like this” he muttered, yet the mutter just echoed in the sink. He didn’t want Sam to witness this, this brokenness, this vulnerability.

Since Sam's "promotion," time had been tight for the new captain. Paperwork, uniform designing and fitting and even interviews. It seemed a lot of the internet, talk shows and news rooms wanted to catch wind of what it was like and how Sam felt about the situation. And of course he was ecstatic- grateful even, but it was very exhausting. Speaking of which, he'd just returned from a long day of signing and running errands. Heavy footsteps toward their front door, jangling keys and crinkling grocery bags. He unlocked and shut the door behind himself with a sigh. Home at last. "Guess who's back!" He called to announce his arrival, just to be met with silence. Bucky should be home. Worry and caution brimmed, the airman setting the bags down at the table before he headed for Bucky's room. The bathroom door was open, so he approached to check. And what a sight he was met with. Piles of brunette locks scattered around Bucky, who's leaned over the sink in what appears to be a mental breakdown. He was frozen in shock for a moment, before he slowly approached the other. "Hey, man," he said softly, a hand lifting to gently rest on Bucky's shoulder. "What's going on here?"

bucky smirked quietly , handing sam a cup of coffee . ' made it for ya wilson . '
yet - of course he had done something to it . as in - adding salt insteas of sugar .
          ' you work a lot those days . ' he said with a tiny , innocent , smile .

bucky nodded softly at the man . ' alright . any chance we could get hotdogs ? last time i ate one was coney island . ' he snickered a bit . ' and let me grab the fruits , i need plums anyway . ' he offered a smile . he was so going to get tabasco to mix it with sam's ketchup .

"Shut up," he playfully chided. Fortunately, there wasn't many people there to begin with. Sam wasn't thinking enough to grab his sunglasses, distracted by Bucky. So the two of them would need to get in and out. "Ah, milk, some fruit and veggies. Don't worry, I'll be quick," he answered, already heading to the dairy aisle. "Is there anything you want me to get to make at my place?"

*there was a half-hearted roll of the eyes, smile appearing* I'm good. I'm all caught up, thank you very much. Pretty sure being a living geometric shape is just a super soldier thing.

Oh, shut up — you’re just jealous you don’t have this body. *he snickered a little as well, shaking his head* Body expectations for Captain America, Sam. Gotta keep up.

*he let out a snicker, popping that chip in his mouth with a shrug* Sorry not sorry. You're broad-shouldered and thin-waisted. A /literal/ triangle, Steve.
