Guys I  NEED YOUR HELP. Is there or is there not a part in Glass Sword that distinctively describes Mare killing Elara. I was reading it last night and it went  from Elara being alive, to shade's thing, then they're back in the Blackrun being all like "Oh btw Elara's like dead" IM NOT CRAZZY!!!!

@Mavey_the_Baevy Ok so you don't know me and I don't know how I got here but hello.  I checked the ebook bc I was sure no way that was right because I wrote about Corros and Glass Sword just now-
            
            It literally jumps from Elara taunting Mare in that cell to Shade appearing and then forth to Ara and Ptolemus fighting and that Shade moment and then they are  in a bigger cargo jet (not the blackrun).  I vividly remembered rereading Elara's death scene like a million times and I always remembered her being fried. In great detail. I guess it is just one of those things that happened in the mist of action,  before the Shade thing 'Fire and Lightning' is mentioned so I assume that is the moment some ricochet must have hit her. After that its most likely the shock that makes Mare skip some of the time.
