            “ well , yeah — i think everyone has known since we all went to your house when we were 13 . mhm , it’s usually pretty gloomy , no ? oh , so what you’re saying is you don’t get bored of me rambling everyday ? that’s surprising . yeah , too bad graduation’s forever away — i think eddie will be the only one who’ll miss richie’s dumb jokes . “ even though richie was her friend , she did get a little tired of his constant remarks and repetitive ‘ your mom ‘ jokes . despite the fact that beverly never told anyone no — she really did want to be here with ben and have some one on one time with him , seeing as they rarely got to hang out alone . she was glad their friends weren’t here — they’d get teased endlessly and they’d never be allowed to forget it . “ whatever you say , ben . alright — just tell me when you don’t like something , okay ? well , of course — i wouldn’t have grabbed your hand if i didn’t want to . really ? i’m glad then . “ she hummed , slowly intertwining their fingers to make sure she didn’t mess up anything .
