Like my mum,I have been a huge fan of books since I was very young, usually I'm old fashioned and prefer to read a book on paper, I love everything about books, especially the smell of an old book. But, I also read online as well..or else I wouldn't be here ;) 
I like pretty much anything when it comes to books and genres, but when it comes to fan fiction I am very fussy. I am also looking for a good horror to read, something that will scare me something awful ;)
I am also looking to start writing a short story with a friend soon, as I have been out of writing with writers block for about a year, so hopefully looking to start this short story to ease my way back in :)
