Hi everyone, 
          	
          	
          	I’m often away from social media for big stints of time. It’s not because I’m incapable of typing a simple message, it’s simply because it requires a certain type of head space to formulate a response with effort. And I have not been in that. Also the online space isn’t my life and I often forget to check it semi regularly. 
          	
          	Yes I unpublished my books. Mostly because I’m unhappy with them and there’s some weird subject matter that fourteen year old me thought was totally fine at the time. I’ve been writing this series for so long that it’s become a timeline of growth in terms of my writing. The newer books are a lot more self-aware than the older ones. Some parts just don’t sit right with me. Other parts are creatively boring. I’m essentially copying Rick’s stuff word for word and then adding what I think is appropriate in between. (Not including the first one which is a problem all on its own). I’m not really sure how to fix the ratio of Rick’s writing to my own without completely erasing the original plot of Percy Jackson. It is fanfiction so it’s not a huge deal, but still I’d like it to be a little less choppy. Also, using other people’s art is another thing that’s always bugged me in the past. Even though I credit and link their art work; I’ve never explicitly asked for permission. 
          	
          	Taking all of that into account, I’ll just make some generic covers for the books in the meantime. The aim was to fix them and then republish them, but that is going to take a long ass time. And people posting on my message board wanting other people to copy MY STUFF onto another sight. PLAGIARISM I GUESS??? I’m aware that may sound hypocritical considering what I just mentioned before. But my writing is still in there!!! It’s my intellectual property.
