Since there is so much misinformation spreading around regarding Rattpad's new guidelines, I'd like to put my two cents in. 
          
          They are NOT banning smut completely. Please read the guidelines before you go around ranting about this and that. As long as it is two consenting adults OVER the age of 18 and it drives the plot of the story. Nothing that glorifies nonconsenual smut and nothing to do with minors. This IS a public platform, there are minors on this app. So, yes, they are trying to protect the young ones here.           Please read it. Make your own opinions based off of what you READ, not what you HEAR. 
          
          With that being said... THIS is exactly how complete censorship starts. They'll start off regulating content under the guise of protecting their users. Then they'll start banning things that THEY deem unacceptable. They'll start banning things based off their own personal opinions and feelings without looking at the bigger picture. 
          
          I suggest getting set up with AO3 as a back up. Now, you all know that AO3 is a completely different beast than this app. There are nonspoken rules within that website, there is etiquette that you must follow. The shit that you can get away with here WILL NOT be tolerated over there. You are GUESTS there until you learn the ropes. Treat it as such.

Hey lovelies! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a hot minute. Writer's block has been kicking my butt lately AND I just got hired for a second job. (Literally have to have two jobs just to survive in this country)
          
          So, unfortunately, I will have less time to write. But I promise I haven't just up and left my stories. I just have to be an adult *cries*

@witchingwillowwp It's awful! Sometimes when I'm stuck, I'll switch gears into another genre. I've got a romance novel with some absurd comedy, a slightly more serious romance Arc, and a horror novel that I'm working on. Sometimes that unsticks me.
