          i just found out about something pretty alarming and wanted to share it so no one gets caught off guard. 
          
          there’s this shady “publisher” pulling wattpad stories and putting them up for sale on google without permission. thank you @apriljester for putting out their initial announcement.
          
          to check if your stories are affected, search your story titles (not your username) on google books:
          https://books.google.com/
          
          then search the titles again on google play books, since it’s separate:
          https://play.google.com/store/books
          
          if you see your story being sold without your consent, you can file a dmca takedown here:
          https://reportcontent.google.com/forms/dmca_search
          
          google will email you once your report is in their queue. they’re moving slow right now, so don’t worry if it takes a bit.
