@wolfgirl0704 Oh girl I know someone who publishes 10k word chapters a day for consecutive days and I cannot wrap my head around it like howwww? (T~T) (but they are unemployed and are on break from college and literally have all the time in the world to write + they have more than 3 yrs writing exp too)
          	  
          	  
          	  Meanwhile (as a fulltime mom to a 3yr old toddler) it takes me 4 days to finish a 10k word chapter. then another day to edit and refine the prose. then another day to add photos/collages/gifs i make myself and put in notes and explanations and stuff for my fanfic. 
          	  
          	  But back then in the height of my fanfic writing obsession as a beginner writer in January 2026, i used to release up to four to six chapters (2-3k words) in a single day for consecutive days and finished a 100k word story in 14days

Yes. Deadass takes me months sometimes just because I want to stay consistent and I’ll relisten to the entire book. I have an app you should try called, Paper2Audio that reads it all back to you. It helps to get inspired and catch imperfections or inconsistencies. I usually put everything in a google doc when I’m working on it so it’s also all in the same place.
