Should I be flattered that other authors are copying my writing style? Ngl I'm really flattered and my only advise to those authors is please don't try too hard, ok? It's pretty and all but you'll eventually find yourselves in rockbottom, my dear, if you're not careful.
Words hold a weigh and that weigh may snap your shoulders down. You'll be torn apart between simplicity and grandiosity. I've been there (honestly, I'm stuck there rn.)
The more I think about it, the more I want to choose simplicity. It's light and nice. I don't really give a fuxk about public opinion because I'm my own opinion, you know? Stay true to yourself. It liberated me once I learned to do just that. Stay true to your writing, because it's yours.
