i also think it’s worth remembering that none of us truly know these idols on a personal level. we only see the version of themselves that they choose to share publicly, and that’s naturally just a small part of who they are. because of that, i don’t think it’s fair to treat any public persona as a completely accurate representation of who someone is. my interpretation may not match yours, but at the end of the day, neither of us knows them well enough to say with certainty how they would act in every situation.

i’m absolutely open to criticism of my writing, and i genuinely appreciate feedback. what i don’t like is when the criticism is solely about a character not matching someone’s personal interpretation, because there’s usually a reason i wrote them that way. every characterization choice was intentional. i apologize if it didn’t meet your expectations, and of course you’re never obligated to like my work. but especially in ITWAJF, their personalities are altered in certain ways because those differences are important to the story and to their character development. i just hope people remember that while these characters are inspired by real individuals, they’re still characters within a world i’ve created. 

ILY guys for reading my work, but i have to be honest sometimes i get frustrated when readers complain that a character isn’t 100% identical to the real life individual. at the end of the day, this is a fanfiction.
          
          for example, with ITWAJF, i don’t really understand why some people are upset that hoon seems more extroverted. personality is such a broad spectrum. i’ve seen comments saying he’s “too extroverted” because he complained about nari’s order, but being introverted doesn’t mean you can never complain or speak up. i’m an ENFJ myself, and i can be extremely socially awkward around people i’m not familiar with. you guys have to understand humans are much more complex than a single label.

          j today i came across ur say ull be mine Jake ff and it's so freaking good! 
          i was always a fan of slow burn and ur ff literally made me giggle, kick feet in the air and get called out by my sis for being so weird infront of her lol 
          it's so freaking good!! be it ur writing style, the character of eunji, jake n eunji moments, soojin and other side characters , it felt like it's all written very well 
          im happy that u didn't make soojin a complete villain by making her do some evil stuff to eunji after knowing abt her n jake relationship. her character really seemed so realistic cuz i can across few ppl in real life where they think they r being a good friend but are j being selfish unknowingly at some point. im glad that soojin realised her mistakes by the end. i really loved minhyuk n jiyeon tho they had less screen time and minhyuk lowkey had a sad ending, their part in eunji's life is saur good cuz they were like the bestest friends she has. 
          wat i wanna say is that thank you for spending ur time in writing that ff. thank u for being consistent abt it and thank you for sharing ur idea in one of most beautifully written way possible
