          his americano met her macchiato 
          the lingering scent of coffee
          
          half-empty; half-full
          she talked, he listened
          
          words not yet spoken 
          lingering within the air
          another cup pf coffee
          the beverage of her choice
          just an excuse needed
          to linger for longer
          
          one cup meant for him 
          hers lays untouched 
          as her voice resonates 
          he takes a slow sip
          his smile hidden behind a cup
          hers freely making 
          yet another appearance

sooo, I may not be doing the ONC challenge. Really wanted to, but it would clash with my studies (that's on me for choosing an academically challenging degree), they are a priority so I won't be taking part in that challenge. Also, I don't want to start a challenge that I know that I'll be unable to keep up with. I will continue to work on my novel and I will be entering on the Panhellenic Games (another challenge with mythology as their theme) which runs until the end of April but the target goal is a shorter composition. As I want to challenge myself taking into account my own possibilities, this is what I'll be working on.

so, maybe I'm back again, finals season is over and writing season is on... I have two projects going on right now. The first one is my novel (fantasy rom-com Ghibli vibes with a side of legends that seem to be repeating themselves again and magical apple pies). The other project is that I've discovered the Open Novella Contest that starts on February 1st so, I'm starting to mentally prepare for that, while also reviewing all of the advice that I usually use to get ready for NaNoWriMo, which is how to plot a novella in a short amount pf time and how to write as much as posible in the shortest amount of time posible (yay!)
          I'm sooo excited for the prompts and here's to hoping that I will find a sparkly fantastic slice of life prompt over there :)

          A few months ago I wrote "A tale of destiny", a short story that you can find on my anthology "A thousand words". I've been thinking about doing a book about it, like developing my own fairytale retelling based on Breeke. What do you guys think about it?
