Hey guys, most likely you've guessed it, but I'm having something called....
A writer's block. ):
Well, I just can't find any motivation to write anymore. I don't FEEL like writing. That's strange. That's never happened to me before. I just simply don't know. Talk about fed up.
Well, I can't be the only person eagerly awaiting August 6, right? Because we get a whole new season of Wednesday on Netflix!
Yeah, I'm watching too much Netflix nowadays. And, unapologetically, it is only now that I've started watching The Good Doctor. I'm a little, teensy-weensy bit, behind on the times. After all, I haven't watched Friends.
And The Big Bang Theory.
And The Office.
And Young Sheldon.
And Bridgerton.
And Ginny and Georgia.
Yeah, call me a grandma.
So, have you guys read Sunrise on the Reaping?
I fell in love with the Hunger Games fandom all over again.
Because, oh my God, isn't that book a masterpiece!
I'd like to say it was a roller coaster ride, but honestly it took me completely downhill into despair that keeps me up at nights. I am CRUSHED. Destroyed. I won't be the same again.
I'm rereading the book again, and now as Sid and Ma embrace Haymitch at the reaping, I'm thinking about how they really won't see Haymitch again. Not because he'll be dead, but because they'll be.
A slight damper on my mood, as you can see.
Also, I'm noticing Easter eggs everywhere! When Haymitch and his companion tributes from 12 are being led into the Capitol (after they get off the train), he overhears a Peacekeeper talking about a useless gymnasium in the Academy built forty years ago that is to be used as the Training Center. Well, we know who built it, don't we? Strabo Plinth! As a bribe to shut the Capitol's mouths in his son Sejanus' favor!
I haven't seen anyone discuss this till now, so just thought I should bring it up.
What about you? Did you notice any Easter eggs that nobody else has talked about?
Heading into today's work and I'm already in a bad mood. I've got an unwanted guest over at my house, and it doesn't help that I'm expected to be all warm and smiling towards them. The gigantic impulse to roll my eyes is driving me up the wall.
Like, um... Take the hint and stop talking to me, dude!
They house my largest peeve - they just cannot chew with their mouth shut, so I hear every morsel doing its rounds in their mouth, throughout meals, going chomp chomp. They love to cut people mid-sentence and then say something which is completely off topic. And they don't know how to keep the door closed so as to not let the cooling of the AC out. Seriously, what the hell?
I'm just hoping they leave quick. Fingers crossed.
Right, back to ATD. I haven't started on the next chapter yet, but I'm just going to do that. I'm thinking about how to pace this as to keep it interesting. Talk about problems.

Hey guys! How're you all holding up?
It's so hot where I live, and it also doesn't help that I'm in a constant state of drowsiness. I can sleep at a moment's notice. But anyway, today I finally start writing the next chapter of Against the Dark - A Dramione Fanfiction (let's start calling it ATD, makes for easier conversations) since up till now I was rereading my entire book to get a handle on what exactly I'd had planned before I left. I'm hoping to complete it by tomorrow, so I can update y'all, and I'll give a serious try to at least 2-3 updates a week.
Well, what? I said I will! XD
I mean, I know I haven't quite held myself up to the promises I've made in the past, but who knows? Change is the law of nature!
