'She laughed, and if he could have bottled that laugh and gotten drunk on it every night, he would.'

'She was lovely, brave, and beyond anything he would ever deserve; he was twisted, crooked, wrong, but not so broken that he couldn't put himself together into some semblance of a man for her.'

          The tension killed me.
          I'm not crying you're crying :)

So I was rereading the Maze Runner trilogy and I just got to the part that everybody shuckin' hates, and - surprise, surprise - I've been crying my eyes out for the last half hour straight. My heart shatters every time I read this bit and for some reason I just can't stop reading it too.
          Why? WHY?!

How could Newt ask him to do something like this? How could he possibly kill one of his best friends?
“Kill me or I’ll kill you. Kill me! Do it!”
          “Newt …”
“Do it before I become one of them!”
          “I …”
“KILL ME!” And then Newt’s eyes cleared, as if he’d gained one last trembling gasp of sanity, and his voice softened. “Please, Tommy. Please.”
With his heart falling into a black abyss, Thomas pulled the trigger.'

I consider it my unfortunate duty to inform you that I just finished reading 'The Inheritance Games' trilogy and I'm already having major fangirling withdrawal symptoms - even though I haven't begun on the prequel yet. If anyone here can recommend me something to get over that Jameson x Avery ache in my heart, I'm very open to suggestions.

@Auriamy I did, and I downloaded the ebook. Haven't had the chance to begin yet, though. I'm kinda worried about what turn my mental health will take after reading it after the warning you gave lol

@Auriamy Searching it up rn... Seriously, tho, reading a book when I know it's gonna make me cry over it for days on end - that's certified self-harm and now I'm addicted DX

@katiegoesmew did this incredible review for my book after giving Against the Dark a thorough read, and I must say - she's good at what she does! Check out the review and her profile!
