@firepaints The ghoul was sat up high in the rafters, reading a book that he deemed mind numbingly boring. He had just finished a chapter when he heard a familiar voice call out to him. He folded the corner of the page and set the book down before shifting his body and peeping over the ledge. "Hm? What is it?"
" what ? you thought you're little rouse would work on me ? for future reference , don't lie to a demon . we can tell . now , stop looking at me like i'm lunch , or i'll happily drain your soul , assuming there's anything left to drain . "
@temptisms "Oh." Was what he'd mutter in response. He felt sort of humiliated that he'd been called out in such a way. "You're a demon... that explains things. Well, what now?"
“Well thanks for letting them know I was trying to steal. Kinda rude, guess I’ll hunt some animal instead for food then.”
@shiftythievez "But you're not as efficient as me at it." The ghoul had no way of knowing that for sure, but he seemed confident enough when saying it. "I will get you a deer. Or a buck."

“Whoa, man, you alright? That looked like a nasty fall—come on, let me give you a hand.”
[@worldofhorrors] “Rad! Alright, dude, lead the way and I’ll follow,” he says, gesturing forward with a smile. “Gotta say, you’re kinda intriguing… I dig the vibe you throw off. Tough and rough around the edges, but in a good way, you know?”
@sieg_zeon "I'm cool with it." He confirmed and brushed a hand through his hair. "Let's get going."
[@worldofhorrors] “Only if you’re cool with it, of course. I’m not about to force you to let me tag along,” he says, tilting his head as he slips his hands into his pockets, the faint hum of his prosthetic following the motion. “I get it—trusting strangers isn’t easy. Makes sense to be cautious.”

@ilokind a ghoul is someone who eats... human flesh... * he awkwardly scratched the nape of his neck. * we also have some strong abilities. like being able to create sort of... limb things. that we use to fight and defend ourselves with.
“ Ah — so you must be the ‘troublemaker’ I’ve heard so much about? ”
@helsings The ghoul in dark clothing swallowed back his anxiety. He knew he had been caught. "Okay..." His eyes fluttered shut and he took up a more battle-ready response. "You're right. Now what?" When his eyes opened again, they were visibly different; striking red irises set in inky scelera.
@worldofhorrors “ You’re sure about that — yknow I have a knack for finding out when someone is telling the truth or beating around the bush . ” She responded while flicking the brim of her hat to get a better look at the stranger before her , a subtle smirk pulling its way onto her previously stoic features as she awaited another response.
@helsings His mouth opened, but the words wouldn't come out immediately so he was stood gawping for a moment. "I..." He managed to say, "Uhm... I don't know what you're talking about."
