once upon a time,
in a land full of towers,
dawned a meadow
servile in flowers.
all hailed the patriarch
except one that grew wild;
enkindled the legacy,
endangered the manchild.
and the heavens rumbled,
or so they announced,
"wild things need spading"
each concurred & flounced.
off they went to muzzle
the wicked reigning witch
alas! an attempt so futile
to annihilate their glitch.
marched to the meadow,
cried they crocodile;
remorse none within,
purely intentions vile.
meadow took the bait,
served a fountain of nectar;
drank the towers full,
snarled; raged a disaster.
the wild laid bare,
and meadow crestfallen;
too late to discern,
fools! they let go of wren.
the patriarch then ruled
with laws that governed hate
against their creator the womb;
"Behold!" roared universe & fate.
their dynasty transient,
for another wild bloom(ed);
this time with meadow,
foreshadowed their doom.
once upon a time,
equity & joy showered;
in a land full of survivors,
starseeds wildflowered.
