Katie was born in Sacramento California. She moved to Washington and has lived there since. She graduated from the University of Washington with a BA. She has four siblings and a growing number of nieces and nephews. She is married and loves to crochet and read, which means her walls are slowly being taken over by books and yarn. Her happy place is the beach, and she may or may not have a small addiction to Oreo cookies.
