if you've already gotten your closure, moved on, feel free to ignore this. i don't want to reopen wounds i know we caused you if i'm not someone you want in your life now. i understand completely.
4 years is a long time. we've changed so much-- different interests, different experiences, different people in our life, pretty much everyone in the brain is different, but i'm still here and remember you all the time. i finally caved to that curiosity of how you were doing and checked your account. i saw you were still active and scrolled more than i probably should have-- i wasn't going to say anything, but then i saw a post about us from a couple years ago and i thought it was worth finally saying what i've meant to for a while now.
i'm sorry.
i don't know exactly what was said. so much of those memories were blocked out, and the ones that made them are gone, but i know we were wrong. that we realized a long time ago. we were young, stupid, and hurting, and we didn't handle it correctly at all. it took a lot of learning, some therapy, and medicating our anxiety to process the emotions that came with it, and all these years for me to feel strong enough to say anything. i'm sorry for that too, how long i took.
