          hi there folks :) it's been a while, hasn't it?
          
          so i may or may not have disappeared for over a year. yeahhhh.
          
          i would firstly like to apologise for my absence. i'm sorry to my friends, to my beloved readers and supporters. i know me vanishing was unexpected and i know i've kept a lot of people waiting for FWY, a story very close to my heart that sadly hasn't come to fruition. yet.
          
          with the extremely exciting news of the next step's renewal for an eighth season, i've found myself rediscovering the characters and the show that i love so dearly. i started watching TNS the very week it aired its first five episodes on CBBC, and to think that i've followed it for so much of my life and grown up alongside the cast and other fans is just crazy, very humbling, and a true honour. i definitely wouldn't be who i am today without TNS - it brought me good friends, good memories, and a passion for dance that has inspired me to continue taking classes right up until today. unfortunately i'm headed for university this autumn and that means i may not be able to dance for much longer, but regardless i'm so happy of where i'm at on my dance journey now, all thanks to TNS.
          
          i started writing Fly With You for many reasons. the biggest one can probably be explained as me trying to come to terms with my sexuality. i've known that i was bi for a good few years now but it took me a while tro truly recognise what that meant. through the characters of lena and richelle, i wanted to explore the complexities of sexuality, and portray a genuine, realistic, loving sapphic relationship, something that's sadly still hard to come by in media even today. i also had dozens of theories about season 7 and wanted to share some of them, and ended up incorporating some s7 storylines into my work too. s7 of TNS certainly wasn't my favourite so i'm glad i was able to put my own spin on it, explore my headcanons, and have a lot of fun whilst doing so.

TL;DR --- i'm back, and i'm going to continue writing Fly With You!! i'll be re-editing what i've published and then reuploading it when i can as a brand new and hopefully improved story - the original work is staying up for now though. check back for updates sometime soon and please stay safe folks <3

            it's been over two years since i started writing FWY, though. and i'm a totally different person now, with a different style of writing and different ideas for where i want to take my stories. but through all of that, i'm still hugely attached to FWY and what it stands for.
            
            so here's the deal: i'm going to continue writing Fly With You. i can't promise it will be perfect (or even good welp), or that it'll be finished any time soon. i can't promise that i won't need to take breaks in the middle... although hopefully they won't be as long as this one was. what i CAN promise is that i'll try my hardest to finish the story and give lena and richelle the arc they deserve. whether that's a happy one... only time will tell heheh
            
            i'm going to do a full redraft of the book as it is - yup, all fifteen and a half chapters - before continuing on. i'll leave the original book up for the time being, as i know there are still plenty of people reading and enjoying it every day, for which i am extremely grateful <3. i'll start uploading new chapters whenever i can, although i'll warn you now and say that it may not be for a while - i have exams in just a few weeks that determine my entire future so i need to try and focus on those as much as possible.
            
            i'm rereading what i've published of FWY as i write this, and it makes me smile. there are some parts that are hilariously cringy, some parts that make zero sense - but there are also parts i'm really, truly proud of. i hope to create more moments like that - a story i can be wholeheartedly proud of. soooo there might be some noticeable differences between the original work and its newer companion, but i hope they're all going to be for the better. like i said, i don't know when i'll have the first chapter ready to go, but i'll try my hardest to keep yall in the loop. 
            
            the final thing i want to say? THANK YOU, for supporting me and FWY. i love you all and i'm so grateful you've stuck around.

okay so i was planning to start a new fic for yall, but i've kind of lost my inspiration and i don't think i'm gonna get very far with it so i'm sidelining the project for the moment. in the meantime i apologize for not posting any FWY recently, i have been so so busy but fingers crossed that the next chapter will be out soon. thanks for bearing with me, i love you :))

hi so maybe i dropped off the radar for two weeks,,, anyways i hope yall are doing well!! i have suddenly become very invested in bts and i'm in love with them now hehe so expect them to be mentioned in future fics/chapters maybe? i've been doing some planning for Fly With You, hopefully chapter 16 will be out pretty soon :) thanks for your continual patience and support, sending love!! <3
