I also saw your posts from earlier and figured I’d let you know that everyone is having problems with rankings. Apparently, Wattpad is working on it, but it’s been like this for a while now.
Do you ever go into the community pages? They have a few threads with some Wattpad employees to keep people up to date with it! Lol, sorry for a long note, but I understand your frustration ✌️
And I ended up checking out those Community Pages and that’s how I found out people have been having this problem since last year. That sucks!!!! I stopped obsessing over it so much, thank God, but at least I know it isn’t just me. So, hopefully they will actually fix it!
Oh yes, I am super excited to read your book! I have already started, it’s in my Library. As soon as I have more time I am going to binge out and read it lol.
So what I realized with the tags, was I was getting my views every time I would post a new chapter, right? That was because when I would post a new one, my book would show up under “new” (not “hot”) for all my tags. All of the sudden my book stopped showing up every time I would post. So I wasn’t getting any views.
But I found a work around!!! I started posting via Safari instead of the mobile app and now my book will show up under “new”.
It’s not AS realizable as when the mobile app worked, and not ALL tags work for my books, but I am able to at least find my book under a few tags.
I am so frustrated. My book isn’t showing up under any of it’s tags. This just started a week ago. Anyone else having this problem? Or heard of it???
Hey! So, in the mobile app, when I would post a new chapter, my book would show up on almost ALL of my tags under “new”. My books is showing up right for the “hot” tags. Like for some reason my book is #1 in dreamworld and I checked to make sure and it is. But starting about a month ago, when I would post a new chapter, my story wouldn’t show up under “new” for ANY of my tags. But I FINALLY found a work around!!! I have been posting my chapter via Safari instead of the mobile app and now it shows up under “new”!
@writingistheraputic I think I'm able to help. What do you mean by "showing up under the tags"? If you're saying what I think you're saying, then it's because your book is too low in the ranking. For example, my book "Blazing Sun" shows up in the tag #oncentry because it's listed number two, but it certainly won't show up in the #romance category because, well, there are too many books and mine is nothing compared to the others.
