Jade Shine was born in San Francisco to hippie parents who joined a cult led by a wacko who ran for president eight times. Escaping that life of psychological control, she grew up working her ass off on their rundown family farm in Iowa. Jade now lives in Houston, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, she worked as an Occupational Therapist until she discovered her hidden superpower- writing. Jade writes Female-driven Comedies. Usually a screenwriter, this is Jade's first novel. She hopes to generate a following to bring FRAT FORMAL to the screen.
