I have never done this before, but if anyone who sees this could please answer that would be amazing!
          
          My story Echo is almost to it's five year anniversary of the day I posted the first chapter (July 22nd, 2015). I am half way through a completely rewritten version of the story and plan to have it done by then. Would anyone want me to post it? And if so, would you want me to replace the old chapters on the published book or just make a completely different published story? I'm not sure what to do and opinions would be amazing!

@rishwrites you are so sweet <3 lol im most likely gonna post it in July because of the symmetry but if I get it done faster I might post it sooner than that! And yes, I am probably going to do a whole separate book, you are right it will be easier and might attract more people. thank you so much for giving me your opinion, i really love when people give me suggestions lol

@lad0knd thank you so much for responding! you are right, it'll probably be much easier just to create a whole new published story. I was going back and forth on it, but now that seems like the right decision. And I will definitely write an authors note as the first chapter of the old version saying that there is a new version!

Yes yes yes oh my god yes give me the updates right here right now I’m done waiting!!! Also yes definitely make it a separate book that way it’s less work for you! Or honestly whatever is easier for you is what you should go with, but if you upload it separately you’ll attract new readers rather than ghost readers !! And I definitely agree w the comment before mine, give the readers a notice or an announcement so they know what’s happening!!
