I wrote my first story in the sixth grade and haven't stopped since. My early writings were in science fiction, fantasy, and detective mysteries.  I live in Virginia with my wife, my son, and a host of rescued animals.

My first published book was "Lessons To Live By: The Canine Commandments". It is a book of life lessons from a dog's point of view and is the source for the 10 Canine Commandments you may have seen. I donate all the net proceeds from that book to animal rescue and humane associations. Donations so far are well over $10,000.

The first installment of my epic fantasy series "The Symmetry" is called "The Book of Warriors: Dior" was released in July 2014. This is a new take on epic fantasy, where a major war is being told from multiple points of view. (Think of the histories and stories about WWII -- about individual heroes, battles, strategies, civilians -- all giving you a 360 degree view of what happened.)

I am also co-author of a spiritual sci-fi series "The Eternal Messiah." This story is about the discovery on another planet of a spiritual preacher who just happens to be named Jesus.  The second book in the series, "Immanence", will be released in Fall 2014.
