@wtfh_naviii No, I haven't read the upcoming chapters

The reason I read that chapter is because I've had my doubts since the beginning. If you look closely at the story, the author made it a little too obvious that she is his sister.

First of all, she was supposed to be there that day, but Avni ended up being there in her place and died instead, which is a very classic and predictable trope .

Also, she never performed the last rites for her parents. And throughout the entire story, she has only mentioned her brother once. So, to me, it was quite obvious that she is Ekansh's sister.

I only read that chapter out of curiosity because I wanted to clear my doubts

@wtfh_naviii Well, I feel like she’s a hypocrite . She spent the whole time blaming Vardhan for being ignorant and for abandoning his sister, while she did the same thing to Ekansh.

At least Vardhan’s reasons are understandable. Avni is his stepsister, and his mother left him behind for Avni and her father, so it makes sense why he has so much resentment and trauma attached to that situation. But with Raya, I just can’t ‍‍.

Since the beginning, Raya’s character has felt a little unrealistic to me. She’s Ekansh’s sister, and in Ekansh’s story, we saw how complicated life was for a middle-class family constantly worrying about money, responsibilities, and having to grow up early because of circumstances.

But Raya feels quite different from that. In some ways, she even reminds me of Faria . She can be a little spoiled at times, and the way she behaves doesn’t always match what I would expect from someone who grew up in the same conditions as Ekansh.

That’s why her character feels a bit inconsistent to me. And after everything, I think she’s actually my least favorite character in this series .

@wtfh_naviii Well, I think the reason for that is because he has serious abandonment issues due to his mother. She left him behind to be with Avni and her father, so Avni reminds him of all that and many of his other traumas .

Also, I think because of everything that happened to him his trauma and his past he doesn’t really feel much sympathy for anyone anymore. He’s emotionally detached, so for him, Avni is just another responsibility.

By "cycle of revenge," I mean the plan he had. He was going to take revenge on Faria’s mother (I forgot her name ), and somehow he was planning to use Raya in that revenge. But once his revenge was complete, he wanted to beg Raya to stay with him and all that.

And nope, there was no mention of his past in this chapter.

Also, yesss the book is wayyy too slow paced . Most of the time, it feels like the same things keep repeating. They fight, then reconcile, and then the same cycle starts again. It’s the same with Advait and Maliha’s book too. Right now, most of the chapters are just them insulting each other and nothing much is happening . It honestly feels like I’m stuck in a loop

@Misandristtt BroooooooooWow. Thankyou once againnnnnn❤️ i desperately want to know why he don't feel anything towards Avni? Even if step sister or adopted she was a human being and if they have never met then from where comes this much hatred??? You have any idea? And what does it means his cycle of revenge or whatever that word was complete???? Still no mention about his past?? Istg the book is so slow paced and the chapters keep increasing.

@wtfh_naviii Fr bhai these readers will hate every character at this point. I still remember how everyone used to hate Maliha so much that even the author’s conversation board was filled with comments like “how can she create a character like Maliha” and how much they hated her. Then the moment they got to know what Maliha went through, suddenly people started saying Faria deserved everything And now they’re hating Advait and Ekansh.

The author clearly mentioned from the start that this series would have morally grey characters. And tbh, these characters are literally saints compared to actual morally grey characters If she wrote truly grey characters, these readers wouldn’t survive even 10 chapters.
