well, so much for my last message. shows how dead this app is and that no one really cares

Hey guys. I want to say a few things in regards to my inactivity on Wattpad and sometimes deactivating my account altogether.
          
          1) I started my first year of college, and I was busier than I could've ever imagined with both my school and social life. 
          
          2) I've had serious bouts with mental health and anxiety throughout the year as well, some of which were so bad that I didn't have the motivation to get out of bed and they interfered with my daily routines. 
          
          3) I am very sorry if I've become socially distant with any of my close friends on here/haven't been supporting their work half as much as they did with me. Even now, I'm barely on Wattpad, and I'm usually only on here to write because it is a coping mechanism that helps so much for me. 
          
          Lastly, I don't know how much longer I'll be on here. There are two stories I want to try to publish on here, but they might not be up for that long because I don't know exactly where they will lead, but as of right now, I'm just testing things out.

as happy and fortunate i am to live in a blue state where abortion is protected by the state, i am unbelievably grief-stricken for the thousands and millions of women who will have to undergo unwanted childbirth and therapy from the emotional abuse they went through while having to carry the child they did not want. Supreme Court, you may have won this battle, but you sure as hell have not won the war. Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, and every last one of you SOBs in the supreme court and Republican pro lives out there, you fucked with the wrong generation.

I think a lot of people need to understand separating the art from the artist. For example, I am a huge Kanye West fan and I love his music. Do I support him as a person? Absolutely not. But I can still appreciate and love his music. 
          
          Same thing with the Smiths, Motley Crue, Led Zeppelin, the Rollling Stones, etc. A lot of these people weren't necessarily good people, but I still love the music. Even John Lennon, who I've been very adamant that I do not like him as a person, but his music and his talent was amazing. 
          
          Even Harry Potter. I'd never in a million years defend JK Rowling but Harry Potter is something that's always been dear to my heart and special. 
          
          I don't think you should tear down others for liking controversial artists, either, as long as they aren't defending something they've done that's wrong, let them enjoy the art
