Congrats on getting the nerve to post your writing, many people never make that jump.  Interesting premise and very well done.  The conflict in Michelle's mind is a good place to start and you can take it several ways if you wish.  Just to let you know, your cousins Shannon and Shaun both write on a consistant basis and would be glad to offer suggestions and critiques.  I have been writing for over 10 years myself, and I'll  give you any help you should need.  Quite proud of you for a very nice piece.
