no worse feeling than opening a fic that genuinely seems super interesting and you’re hit by what feels like a completely chatgpt written dialogue…
i had to update wp and i absolutely hate it i have ads every chapter and i can’t bypass it like i used to plus i hate all the new writer tools… i’ve been considering posting my pre existing fics to ao3 just to have them but lowkey i actually might do that bc i’m so annoyed at this app
@wylanist lololol same, i thought my app was broken when i couldn’t skip ads anymore and they were on every single chapter!! but exiting the story and using the table of contents on the summary page skips them completely. but i bet next update wattpad will figure it out and we’ll have to find a new way to skip ads
you can bypass! just keep the parts section open and every time you finish a chapter, exit the book and tap the next chaptrr! it works for me, i used to just press the table of contents when i was in the chapter and skip the ads but then i had to update lol. it’s a bit annoying but better than wasting two minutes on ads
