@wyngdeath      it’s a one in a lifetime to come across    but,  it’s fairly unnatural    i haven’t known this house to be quiet in seventeen years    but,   in a way,   it is ..    i don’t have to be your father to worry about you     a son can take care of his dad all the same     especially now,    everything considered

you do have a point there       part of me doesn't like the silence     *̲(@cubspirited)   as much as i complain with the noise      i'm far from exhausted ..       just finding it tricky to sleep, is all       plus, it's not your job to worry about me       it should be the other way around

@wyngdeath      you haven’t ever heard it this quiet ..   usually,  there’s always [someone] awake and causing a ruckus    primarily rylen    i am a little worried ..    we don’t need you exhausted     i think lately everyone else is doing enough of that for us

( to some extent,  rylen had easily found himself growing up with a different perception of his cousins    all his life,   they’ve only ever been troublemakers ..     and at the ripe age of thirteen,    the young foster could easily make out the unspoken conflict between both sides     something he had more or less kept his distance from,    until now      until they’d crossed a line far beyond reasoning     ever since his party,   he had began to see them in a different light     a much more deceitful sort than what he’d grown accustomed to         his head gives a dismissive shake    hesitantly,  his eyes managed to find his father’s,    filled with anger and sadness,     too much for that of a boy his age )     .. you don’t [understand]    why don’t you get it?    they know what’s happened to brae and mer     and im willing to bet scotty and tristan have known since the very beginning    (@wyngdeath)     laldrolth and mourning’s teeth were bloodied ..    like rhaegon’s after a snack     do you think that’s coincidental?     you think it’s just ..   poor choice of wording?    that tristan seems to think we’re down to ten children?    we can’t just let this go by ..   we need to [do] something 

(   to say daniel should have known better was an understatement      he’d grown up with the frasers;  his cousins,  his family      the people the foster was supposed to consider his own blood     *̲(@wyrmhonor)     yet even now ..      after all these years      it was hard to grasp the concept of their cruel ways and actions      it was hard enough to hear these possibilities from his husband       but now,  from his youngest son ..      who somehow managed to grasp and understand the situation more than daniels weak heart ever could?      dark eyes would finally shift      picking up the courage to turn and find rylen  )     and we’ll figure out to deal with the frasers ..      in due time       right now     our priority is finding out what has happened with your brother and sister      as well as keeping the rest of you safe       .. the frasers and their business is nothing for you to deal with      or to even think of doing so       just ..       just leave it alone

of course      if you change your mind,  the two of you,   you know where to find us    (@wyngdeath)    now,   won’t you come inside?     it’s ..    chilly out here,    and the festivities have already started 

whilst i appreciate your offer     knowing logan and i would take whatever help we can get right now ..       *̲(@serpenties)     i don’t think this is a field you and your brother are best fitted in      

that’s where you’re wrong ..     we,  myself most of all,  are holding the situation to our highest concerns    in fact,  given our recent developments?    tristan and myself would be open to helping you search    (@wyngdeath)     only if you’ll have us,   that is

and where would that leave the twins?      if they’re lost somewhere      anywhere     sunfyre and moonfyre’s company would be the only thing keeping them safe      *̲(@valyrblood)     you can’t just ..    expect me to accept that’s not the case    (  being unable to admit it out loud didn’t mean daniel was completely unaware of it     he,  more than anyone,  knew logan had a point     there was something in his gut almost screaming at him ..   reminding him of the same thing logan wouldn’t let up on      there was always a harsh reality whenever it came to anything in their family      with all the tough pills to swallow over the years,  it seemed that daniel was only finding it harder as time went on to deal with things       to accept them,  as he had stated      the moment at hand was a prime example ..     already shaking his head at his husbands next words   )      they’re lost       something happened at the dragon pit ..      and because of it      they’re lost      i’m not denying any of it,  because there’s nothing for me to deny      we don’t know all of what’s happening ..       but  [  i know ..  ]   that brae and mer are coming home      with their dragons 

at the very least ..    their dragons are gone      ( it tasted like lead in his mouth,   those words      least of anything,    he wasn’t ready to accept that his twins,     the second youngest in their household were simply gone      but nonetheless?     it was a possibility he had to at the very least consider ..     especially when he knew his husband wouldn’t be able to     especially when he knew,    since the moment his son had come to him with his confession,     they were in for much more serious problems than either of them could ever imagine  )        .. so,    we have to consider it     i know you don’t want  to,    believe me,   [i] don’t even want to      but,    being that moonfyre and sunfyre are likely dead?      and there’s still no trace of brae or mer?        ..  we need to find out what’s happened to them—      and i won’t stop until i know the full truth of it,   but this is something you cannot deny we need to keep in mind,   daniel

that doesn’t make any sense,  logan       it just ..   doesn’t     *̲(@valyrblood)     dragons can’t just go missing off the face off the earth and be  [  gone .. ]        never mind dragons that were carrying our children    (  the last sentence before daniel’s unwilling silence had reminded him yet again of how dire the situation at hand was     just like every second their two children had been missing had been doing     there had always been possibilities on what could have happened ..      all which he refused to accept,  if it wasn’t brae and mer returning home safely     though hearing it from his husband had set an undeniable ache in his chest      he’d clear his throat,  before finding himself speaking up again  )      .. there has to be another explanation      we can’t just settle on them being  [ gone, ]  logan      that’s not good enough

                you might think that you can,  but if you could?  you would have done so a while ago considering how bad it’s been getting.  this isn’t a minor setback..  it’s a big deal.  leaving it alone never does anyone any good.  everything you’re keeping quiet about will just eat away at you until there’s nothing left,  and you’re not you anymore because you went down the wrong path.  i don’t want that for you,  and i doubt that you do.
