❪ ID : @wyrmite ❫ her curiosity aroused , melantha moved with cautious grace , weaving through the shadows cast by the blazing foliage . as she drew nearer , the acrid scent of smoke mingled with the metallic tang of blood , assaulting her senses with its raw intensity . a small stream cut through the thicket like a serpent of silver . and amidst the charred aftermath , the stench of seared flesh reached her , unsettling yet intriguing . she eyed the beast of monstrous proportions that lay near the water's edge . blood stained the ground in dark rivulets , wounds oozing crimson onto the ashen ground . in the dimming light , the figure attempting to rise from the smouldering carnage caught her attention . limbs charred and broken , the stranger's form was a testament to the savagery of the encounter . yet , despite the carnage that surrounded them , there was a stubborn resilience in the way they struggled to rise . and , without hesitation , she moved , her movements fluid yet calculated as she closed the distance . the deity straddled the injured stranger from behind , an ethereal dance of shadows cast by the dwindling daylight . her right hand dripped with a dark liquid , an otherworldly substance that coalesced into a claw of obsidian malevolence . it gleamed in the fading light . without hesitation , she slashed the stranger's throat , a swift and calculated execution that left the body crumpled on the ground . ❪ 2 / 3 ❫

"Listen, there really is no need to keep following me. If you're mad at me, then just get to the point. All I did was sing a few songs and had some drinks." Maybe a lot of flirting as well, but that was how he made his money in the end of the day. He would understand this persistence if he took the wrong lover upstairs. But he didn't even do that. The curse he had was also acting up. He didn't like this at all. Like alarm bells were being set off.

"Suspicious? Says the stranger following me around at night? That's rather ritch —" Though, he didn't want to push his luck. He had a sinking feeling but couldn't quite put his finger as to why. His curse never reacted like this wither. Like cold ice was pressed to the back of his neck where the symbol originated from. Was it a magic user? Maybe someone who could undo this spell placed on him? Or was it trouble? One that would most likely end in the town's ruin should it really escalate. "Look, I mean no trouble. I barely got coin as well. So, let's just talk this through, alright?"

@scaleshift is that all? [ it was less than a question and more of a statement. unamused, auburn eyes raked the other up and down before rolling. had vem cared more, he might have given more of a reaction to being accused of ‘following’ someone, then again, that was exactly what was happening. ] don’t get me wrong, it was definitely a… performance— but, there’s just something, well, suspicious about you.
