          there was an episode of Tom & Jerry called "Blue cat blues" where Tom spends every bit of money he has to try and win back his girlfriend which was unsuccessful. after falling we see tom siting on some train tracks looking upset. Jerry is watching Tom and he reminds himself how lucky he is for still having his girlfriend, then sees his girl with her new husband. Jerry then joins Tom on the train tracks and they both sit in devastation as a whistle of a coming train rushes towards them
