I remember being in middle school and thinking I would amount to nothing because I was bullied. People don't realize the energy in our thoughts and words we speak. You can affect someone mentally and physically through your words and intentions. I never wanted to go to school because I was told I was uglier than the girls there, it led to many problems I have today, including low self-esteem/hatred. I remember writing letters to the principle about getting bullied and the affects it has on me and other victims. It really changed who I am today, in bad ways and good. Now, my goal is to go to different middle/high/elementary schools, like DBMS, and share my story. I know there is plenty of girls and boys there who bully, but there are many more victims. It may not get to each one of the bullies, they may not even think about it, but I definitely know someone somewhere will be able to talk to people about their bullying experience and how to overcome it all.
