"We can help you but only if you agree to help us in return." The woman in a white blazer and dress pants states. Her eyes are brown– like expected of her kind.
I chuckle, my eyes on the cuffs around my wrists. "That's the problem with you humans." I say. "You're only willing to give after getting. And even then do you hesitate. You expect help from those you've degraded, as if they should feel privileged that you've gained interest regardless of your selfish reasoning behind the help you seek."
The witnesses and inspectors gasp, looking astonished at my blunt words. "What do you mean selfish reasons? If I recall, your people asked for help. We agreed and now your trying to turn on us."
"My people as you so kindly put," I smirk. "Asked for your help for a cure. You gave us a bigger problem."
"Leave us." The woman dismissed at the witnesses.
"Madam Lorelei, I'm afraid that would be against your- and the subject's- safety." A man in gray stuttered.
I laughed. "Oh, my safety won't be an issue, trust me, human."
