Back to Caine (book/character)...I discovered Skarsgard because of it and was instantly attracted to his picture. I started watching True Blood because of him. Ugh . I would love a POV from his during mating too. That would be a blessing. I would also love if it included him going down on Charlotte. When he said "I've seen, touched and tasted every part of your body," I melted. Charlotte getting her wolf and talking about how she couldn't get enough of him. Mating everyday, sometimes multiple times. Such a hot relationship.
As for Dylan & Leila I get why they're popular. Midnight Moon does feel like a family. Leila has the best support system. It's true their sex life is balanced. But I find there to be an immaturity to Dylan's possessiveness. It's very different from Caine's. I'm not crazy about it. Leila has moments where I question her logic. For example, I don't at all understand how a Luna - after showering and is still in a towel - is playing around with Eric. And saying things like "I'm glad I don't have to have sex with you to give you a good time" when she's alone with whoever it m be. In The Alpha Meets His Match, she purposely eluded to wanting to be with Jace alone to have a certain conversation to free Cassidy knowing he would give into her. And he confronted her about it saying that it wasn't fair. And when Dylan for the first time ever showed genuine insecurity - saying he always felt like he loved her more and feels like she has a list of people she can run to, to be with if she wanted to leave him - made me feel sooo sorry for him. It is never okay to make your mate feel that bad. And as she should have; she felt awful when he confessed that to her.
He is briefly. Dylan and Caine are mentioned because the characters in HP talk about the war. The book has an additional chapter in the end that goes into the future at the scene of the war. It's a teaser.
Yeah everything the author did with Caine (the book) and their relationship was done so well. It felt so fricken real. I'd like to know what definitive moments you think made them fall in love with each other as they got to know one another?
