~Basic Information~

Novakitties are my OC species. They were originally created sometime in early September, 2020, along with six other species. Novakitties are quite civilized and live in a complex system with rules and monarchy. They are named after features of outer space, such as galaxies, stars, asteroids, and planets! Their leader is a female named Nebula.

~Appearance & Traits~

Novakitties resemble a cat with fur that is usually any cool color, such as blue, purple, green, or cyan. All females have wings and can fly. About fifty percent have the "Planet Crown," which is like a small arrangement of floating planets on a novakitty's head - some novakitties in fact don't have the planets and instead have stars. Novakitties like to wear expensive jewelry made out of silver, gold, and amethyst, usually shaped like hoops and/or atoms that loop around their necks or ears or tails. Most novakitties also have a "comet tail," where the tail looks sort of like an asteroid field and is disconnected.

~Civilization/Monarchry~

Novakitty civilization is quite simple. The queen holds the most power, and the queen is often more respected if she wears more jewelry and/or gems. Queens are usually shades of purple or lavender. By word of law, males are not allowed to become a ruler, but females are. Pretty much any female is allowed to be a queen; once every five years, three candidates for queen are chosen and a vite is held. 

~Fun facts~
-We debated calling novakitties "Nebulakitties," "Cometkitties" and "Spacekitties."
-Novakitties were the last of the six Kurami to be created
-These species would be the replacement of "Shroomkitties" as they were boring and useless.
