It's better to take your time to put as much detail in a story as possible than to throw a couple of words together and call it a chapter.
Which brings me to say that I have a couple stories in the works, but none will be posted until I have completely finished the story, in whatever way I like. I feel like this is a better choice than to be pressured by a schedule or race to make people happy. It's better to go at your own pace.
I dunno. It irritates me to see that people writing their first stuff make it so short and quick because they're eager to get they're ideas out there. No one is pressuring you. Take a deep breath and take your time.
