Hi, honestly long time, no see. I've been mean by not updating any stories, and I dont think I am in the position to even write a chapter.

But that is not why I am here today. I want to vent, mainly to ask. In each and every stories I have ever read about same sex couples, it seems like the role is fixed. One is soft, emotional, every character's favourite, flawless, and the other one will be tough, never cries, never have a moment of weakness.

Why? I have just read a JeongCheol fanfic, and the dynamic at first seemed okay. Both characters have their stories and it was advancing great. Then all of a sudden, I find Jeonghan being an emotional person, blaming Seungcheol for something when the latter did it because he was hurt, and the reason was Jeonghan acted like he didnt care of him.

I opened the comment section, expecting people to understand Seungcheol's POV, but everyone is trash-talking his character.

I tried to continue reading it, but Seungcheol is treated as a whole red flag, blamed by everyone in the story.

And this dynamic is seen in 90% of all queer stories/fanfics.

Is there a reason for that? Personally, as someone who is queer, I see it not different as wanting to know whos the "woman" and "man" in a same sex relationship.

Everyone has their stories, everyone cries, everyone has their flaws. Dont over idolize someone.
