@xanychan17 Don't give up on your story. Writing is hard and there's nothing wrong with a story being broad. What's important is that you're enjoying the story and learning from the process. If you've lost interest, then that's another thing, but there is a value in following your story to the end -- even if you don't like every aspect of it.
