Have to say this now before I likely disappear. Lost a family member recently and nearly lost another shortly before that. I’m gonna be a lot less consistent for a several weeks while I get my head back in the game.

Alright, so about that Deadlock thing. In the span of a week, 15 thousand words so far. I am enjoying this way too much, holy shit.
Might post the first few chapters when I get about 7-8 done. Wrapping up the third today, so that’s about 5k word count per chapter (that was my goal, wanted each chapter to feel like an episode rather than a chapter)
Gonna try and decide between this and Splatoon, since I’ve also started the next arc for that and like the bit of world building I’m creating.

@ElBurritoBandido Oh wow, thanks for having my back man. It’s honestly the second time I’ve had that happen, since I was told a lot of what I was doing with Nikke was the along a line that the actual campaign was going. Couple that with ZZZ? A bit disheartened to keep writing Gacha stories, so I’m sticking to much more open worlds to interpret than something so linear and complex. Thank you again, man, that means a lot.
@xdRemix No Prob. I also sent you a message early this August about that schmuck who was talking smack about Eous but its seems Wattpad didn't send the reply to your post for some reason. Basically what I said is that neither you, I, or anyone really for that matter knew that the devs were going to introduce Pyrois, and that if anything you were ahead of the curb with Eous. But like many gacha stories, you kinda have to deal with a double edged blade as you want to strike while the irons hot, and make alterations when the storyline takes a 180 turn.
Learned about a bit of Deadlock shit and I’m SO MAD I did the League thing first cause it’s setting is exactly what I had in mind. I will experiment, and you may see sumn new sometime soon.

@Ahmedchagroune Likely not until Winter, so December/January. Working on more practical writing than self-indulgent stuff.
I know many a people likely met me from gacha stories, and this probably isn’t the news you want to hear, but I am definitely taking a much slower approach on those from now on.
I want to branch away from OC inserts and start manipulating stories without so much lore to try and build up my own creative writing and world building.
And I can’t lie, to do that, there’s only one story that gives me that much freedom, and it’s Splatoon.
It’ll return sooner than some of you may like but I’ve been invigorated to keep going now that I’ve settled on the story of Season 3 and all the completely new elements that are actually from the game.
Hope to show you guys something far more impressive than just leeching off some video games.

Yo some absolute demons been running amok lately. Have had a few people point out to me that Eous is useless with Pyrois around as if they aren’t opposing forces, but I’m not gonna get into it.
Admittedly even before these comments, I can’t act like writing fanfic ab gacha games or just games in general is beginning to feel a bit dull, save for like, Nikke.
Zenless’ problem is that, Eous was literally birthed from the concept of Pyrois, so they weren’t wrong, but it’s not like it’s not salvageable. I’m not disheartened by bro’s existence, but it does make writing the times more tedious, so Zenless is definitely getting pushed back a bit to figure out how I wanna deal with it in a way that makes the hecklers stfu.
So, ngl, I’ll kinda be posting bullshit you don’t want for a few weeks/months, I’m not in a very productive space in regard to writing rn. Apologies.
Alot of stuff I read from other people here feels like cinema while my shit reads like something a chud wrote while high as fuck
