@Baguetteonarolsroyce I’m sorry, that’s really hard. I hope you guys are able to stay friends and see each other over the summer! Even if it doesn’t work out, it might be for the better. I changed so much between grade 11 and the end of my first year of university and I think it’s a really important stretch, and being single (and friendless LOL) throughout really taught me a lot about myself! Plus I promise when you leave high school you will meet SO many people and suddenly the girls from your high school won’t feel so consuming or important at all. Even if they end up living in the same residence building at your university; this in fact happened to me with a 2 year homoerotic friendship :). So anyways, I would say keep texting and try to make plans if they’re feeling it, but if not, don’t force it! Things tend to play out the way they are meant to. At least that’s what I choose to believe because I would drive myself crazy if I didn’t!
