The problem with writing every character as though they’re the hero of their own story is that sometimes you realise the third extra from the left has a more interesting story than your nominal protagonist.

Writers may write for themselves because the story idea excites them, but they post because they’re excited to share with you. 

I'm doing well! I was really busy over this winter break but it was so nice to get away from school for a while
