            An umbrella term for
            Fictive- an alter based on a fictional source
            Factive- an alter based on a real source
            Faitive/fuzztive- an alter based on a source that is both fictional and real, mixed. 
            Misconceptions: (buckle up theres many)
            "Introjects HAVE to act like their source!"
            No! They dont! They are based off of a source, there are not the source.
            "You can get introjects through shifting."
            Nope! You can get introjects BASED off of people from places you've shifted. But you will NEVER have an introject just walk into your head while shifting. 
            (Similarly: you can get alters  BASED off of spirit guides and spirits you commune with, but you cannot get a ghost from outside of the body in your head.)
