i'm worried one of my favorite authors is using chatgpt but i don't know how/if i should ask : (
if you do happen to be reading this author, just know your writing is so much better without it! honestly! slower updates are worth you taking your time to create. also, the repeated phrases chatgpt churns out are obvious and unfortunately distracting as a reader.
Hope you decide to put the Al away if I'm right cause you really don't need it <3

@xlaurmanix yes i agree about the very vague part. I haven’t come across alot of work that i consider made with AI (i don’t really read a lot of stories on here either lol) but i did read one story and it was very vague one liners and very little depth and overall questionable up until i saw exactly the response from chatgpt in their work lol x_x. me personally i focus on details and emotions too much and i second guess a lot of dialogue up until i publish it and get feedback, but i still wouldn’t consider using it i feel like it might kill your creativity in a way to where you’re heavily reliant on it to deliver work.

@stalliyonce I have to say i didn’t notice with your work at all if that helps lmao! But yeah the difference is immense! quick updates aren’t worth chapters you’re not proud of so amazing you left it behind ;)

There were a couple of authors that told me about AI writing some time ago and I hate to admit that at first I was pushing things out from using it, but when I went back to read and edit, it was genuinely the most terrible things I’ve ever presented and I could not believe I ever thought I needed it. Now I can fully see the difference between actual writing and AI, and it does make it really hard to continue reading books on here.
