Why are your chapters split into different books instead of being in one book with multiple parts?

Heyy. Sorry I have been a dead beat to you and all the rest of my favorite writers. I am officially trying to show you all how much I appreciate your work. I spend a very large amount of my time reading all of your work, and I will start leaving comments and ideas if any come to mind.
