@xoStardust Logged into wattpad after YEARS and checked in here, as you're one of my favourite authors. Having lost my grandfather around the same time frame, I completely understand and I'm so sorry for your loss. I miss my grandfather everyday, it's not something that you ever recover from. I remember my grandfather as I'm navigating through life, when I'm making big decisions, and when I'm having a tough time. His memory catches me offguard when I look at the things he used to love. I remember him when someone peels me some fruit. I remember him when someone laughs at a banana. I remember him when I see a comic. And I remember him when I see myself in the mirror. While I still feel grief at his untimely loss, his love and the values he taught me are a source of strength always. While there's no shielding against the sudden swell of grief that hits you completely out of the blue, I hope that with time, your memories with your grandfather become something that you're grateful for and the pain recedes. Sending you and your family lots of love <3
