@EpicBreezy Adding people is basically Becoming a Fan.
          Wattpad have not got a friend button like facebook, but fanning people and then talking to them in Wattpad Chat is a great way to make friends!
          So when you go to a user's profile, on the right-hand side just click" Become a Fan".
