I don’t mean to sound like I’m complaining or ungrateful for the votes, but I’ve been feeling discouraged by the lack of interaction and comments on the last few chapters I’ve released. I understand that the AIB fandom has been dwindling hence the lack of readers, but I’ve been receiving a lot of spam and bot comments. It’d be nice to see that actual humans are reading and enjoying my work. Any comments would be greatly appreciated and encouraging for me to continue posting ♡

ANNOUNCEMENT!! ♡ 
          The first draft of book 2 for Dreaming In Blue has finally been completed! At current, with no editing, it’s sitting at a total wordcount of 143,560 words! 
          I still need to do the first round of editing and break it down into chapters and make graphics, but it’s finally finished! I’m hoping to release the first chapter the second sunday of January (the 11th)! I’ll also be adding an announcement chapter to Dreaming In Blue when I’ve posted the introductory chapter of book 2, Shades of Blue. 
          Thank you everyone who has waited patiently and read Dreaming In Blue this year!! I hope you all have a great new year!! ♡ ♡ ♡

            as for re-reading dreaming in blue, i’d say it might be worth it, since depending on when you first read it, there might be new parts, since i’d been editing bits and rewriting and adding small scenes throughout the year ;P

I just finished Dreaming in blue! It was truly a masterpiece, I cannot comprehend the amount of work you put into it with all the facts and details but I'm so happy you did! I can't wait for book 2, I saw you want to post it when it's finished but I so wish you would release the chapters slowly one by one! Congratulations again on writing such a good and captivating book, love u!

i’m so glad you enjoyed it! ♡ i’m very proud of it, it’s the second multi-chapter fic that i’ve ever completed and by far the longest single fic i’ve ever written. i’ve been spending so much time in it that i sometimes forget maki isn’t canon haha
            
            i know people are itching for book2, but it’s still a draft in need of heavy editing once i’ve completed the full plot. i often jump around while writing and add extra scenes, so it’s not easy to start posting at the moment, even at a slow pace, because i might get an idea for something to happen earlier in the story or change an earlier plot point if it doesn’t work with something that happens later. hopefully my oneshots and my karube/niragi/maki au can tide you over until book2 is complete! or, if not, i hope to see you again when book2 is ready!! ♡♡

added my fic playlist to the intro chapter of 'dreaming in blue'. it's best listened to on shuffle as it's mostly vibe-y as opposed to being chronological and each song being directly tied to a chapter. it also includes some songs that would fit better into s2, but i haven't made an s2/book2 playlist yet.
