19-year-old Beth is desperately searching for her own identity. She lives in the shadow of her incredibly famous Hollywood parents. Her only saving grace is the close relationship she has with her younger sister, Melissa.
But when Melissa gets a lead role in a Disney series she becomes as famous as her parents, leaving Beth feeling completely alone.
Beth moves to England and enrols on a screenwriting course at the National Film and Television School.
Finally, she starts to enjoy life. She makes friends and becomes housemates with Vince, a quirky animator and Jim, a gorgeous actor/model.
But then she hears some news that throws her world upside down. Before she knows it, she's involved in making a film with Vince and Jim about pretending to steal Hollywood's most famous diamonds while the Oscars take place.
But nothing in Beth's life is ever simple and she finds herself involved in something and with people she would never have dreamed of.
