[ rant ]
☢︎︎ please do not read if you are intent on watching hunter x hunter. there will be spoilers below, please evade reading if you haven't concluded the series. this is the last arc i'll be correlating this to.
"you have it easy killua,
since it means nothing to you."
i'm a heartless and cold person, but that really hit harder than gon hit pitou with jajanken and faster than godspeed mode. my heart sank when they separated. i love those two boys as conceptual characters, and it's really sad to see those two in conflict, right.
"how old are you?"
"12."
"i guess we're the dame age."
"i'm killua."
"i'm gon ! "
okay, okay. what makes it even worse is that killua prioritizes alluka more than gon, hOwever, that is logical and i don't blame it. they're siblings, it's evidently generic if they hold priority on their sibling. i don't blame alluka or killua at all though. not at all.
hunter x hunter is one of my favorite animes, and it's so upsetting they ended terms like this. however, i'm not done reading the manga soo..
(also R.I.P leorio, he was an amazing voice actor, may he rest in peace.)
it's just heartbreaking to know that gon thinks killua is fine without him. and it's even worse that killua knows gon is fine without him.
if you're curious, i watched hxh back in 2013. i'm serious. i just decided to rewatch it. i was young when watching hxh before, and i remember feeling remorse when they split up.
but that feeling multiplied by x20.
"first, i'd introduce him to killua --
my best friend in the whole entire world!"
he didn't introduce him, but lmao what was i expecting. i've rewatched hxh over 5 times now, yet i'm still upset. i'm overreacting for a fictitious show, yes, i am. i'm literally hoping that the creator makes season 7. however, i won't blame the creator, he's very hardworking. anyways, please don't hmu i'm still heartbroken.
"we'll always be friends ."
