Hey! Coincidently when I came across your profile, I was listening to Pompeii-Bastille and when I read that you love Bastille I was like 'Oh my Allah'.. hahaha they are awesome and I love their songs!:))

It depends on your style of writing. When it comes to short stories, I like to make mine personal. sometimes I'd write them as letters because it's simple, yet still can be heart-warming, or tragic. idk, I can't really explain it. like I said, it depends, and tbh you're asking the wrong person.

What are your favorite songs from bastille?
          I started listening to them because a friend of mine told me they were really good. (the only songs I have heard from them are 'pompeii' and 'no angels').

            I loved 'flaws'. And the part when they put achy breaky heat on the cover of we can't stop felt as if they were making a story (don't break his heart, his achy breaky heart, i just don't think he'll understand and she won't stop, she can't stop).

oh my gosh, that is seriously one of the hardest questions i've ever had to answer.  
            
            I can't really choose favourites, but if I had to recommend a few songs, they'd be 'flaws', and their cover of 'we can't stop' by miley cyrus.
